Our schools are at the heart of Burntwood Trust.
Each serves its own community, has its own character and brings its own strengths, expertise and experience to our Trust family.
We believe that diversity makes our Trust stronger.
Our schools have the autonomy to respond to the needs of their pupils and communities while benefiting from opportunities to collaborate, share expertise and learn from colleagues across the Trust. Our model combines school-level autonomy with collaborative working, central governance support and a strong focus on local stakeholder interests.
As our Trust grows, we are developing particular strength in inclusion and SEND, creating opportunities for specialist and mainstream settings to learn from one another and building networks of expertise that benefit children across our schools. The strategic plan specifically identifies the development of a hub of SEND excellence and a Trust-wide network of SEND and inclusion specialists.
